* I Will Remember You*

On July 1, 2011 my family lost their matriarch, my Grandmother.

She was the backbone, the granny, the mother, the best friend to everyone in my family. Ever since I can remember she was always there, even when we were far apart. One of the strongest women I knew and whom I inspire to be everyday. I am so thankful she gave me the strength and wisdom to carry on her legacy to my children and one day grandchildren. She was the youngest of 13 children, had 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and loved everyone of them. She was always there to help you out when she had nothing, she was always telling stories, teaching us how to dance, and giving advice on life. I will remember her always and she will live on in my heart. She taught me many things from how to cook and clean my house, take things in stride, to live life to the fullest and the most important family is the most important.

This week's sketch for Twisted, #110 was "Ribbon" . Make sure you check out the sketch and what the Twisted Sisters did! They all did a wonderful job. This was my take and the start of my grandmother's scrapbook I will be focusing on.

Most of the products used were from the May kit from Scraps of Darkness. Flowers & Jewels from Prima, and paper flowers, "grandmother" and "in memory" cut from my Silhouette. Making Memories Rubons in Beach and ribbon from Michael's.
